The God of Israel gave His appointed times in Leviticus 23 — Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, the Blowing of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day. He called them His feasts, set by the new moon, not by the Roman solar calendar that replaced them.
