Readers' Reflections

Thoughtful reflection is not ours alone.

Through the Eyes of an Israelite

We all come to Israel from different walks of life, yet we become one in mind because we serve the One True Living God—the God of Israel.

Many of us were deeply influenced by the philosophies and teachings of this world. Some came to the Nation after watching a YouTube lesson, others through conversations with a brother or sister, and many after reading one of Elder Shadrock's books. Regardless of the path that brought us here, we all arrived seeking truth.

The world offers many institutions of learning—schools, seminaries, colleges, universities, and professional associations. Many of us have earned degrees, qualifications, and professional designations.

Yet, when we come to the House of Israel and sit at the feet of Elder Shadrock, the messenger whom the God of Israel has sent to us, we soon realise that no earthly institution has ever provided the wisdom, understanding, and spiritual nourishment that we receive here.

The knowledge we gain in the Nation does more than increase our understanding; it builds our character, strengthens our faith, and equips us to face the challenges of life with wisdom and purpose.

It shapes how we see the world.

Do we see a glass half full or half empty?

Do we see only problems, or do we seek solutions?

Do we see ourselves as victims, or as victors through the knowledge the God of Israel has given us?

I am truly thankful for Elder Shadrock's discipline, humility, and obedience to the God of Israel. His dedication has been a blessing to so many of us.

May the God of Israel continue to guard, guide, and protect our Elder and all the leaders of this great Nation. May we never take for granted the priceless knowledge we receive at the House of Israel, but continue to persevere through both the good and the difficult times, always growing in wisdom and understanding.

Peace.
