About the Book

The Word, The Israelites, and The Damned, published in 1993, is the third of the three foundational texts produced by Elder Shadrock Porter in the early years of the Israelite Nation Worldwide Ministries. Completing the sequence begun with The Truth, The Lie and The Bible (1990) and The Forgotten Israelites (1991), this work establishes the Deuteronomy 28 framework — the reading of that chapter's catalogue of bondage, exile, and dispersion as a direct description of the historical experience of the Israelite diaspora.

As the Author's Preface to Clothed in Fire, Built on Sand states, this framework "makes sense of our people's specific history in a way that no other theological framework can." Every later work in the ministry's collection that engages the history of the transatlantic slave trade through a covenant lens — including Hidden Secrets of the True Israelites and A Bridge to Cross — stands on the ground this book established.
